Malden Youth Soccer Needs You!
MYS runs on the power of volunteers. Help out: you'll have a great time, and the kids will benefit!
- Refs: contact Leonard David (you need to be at least 15 years old); refs are reimbursed for licensing costs after refereeing for Malden for one season.
- Coaches: after a season of coaching or assisting, and taking the licensing course that goes with the age group, you get one child's registration free. MYS reimburses those who attend training for G and F certification. Contact the U-6, U-8, or Travel coordinator.
- Team Communications: every team needs a parent to volunteer to help the coaches communicate with the parents about practice times, game cancellations, etc. Speak with your coach!
- Publicity: MYS is interested in expanding our reach within the many communities of Malden. Help produce or translate flyers, contact newspapers, etc.
Registration for Fall 2008: Closed
Registration for the Fall 2008 season is officially closed. We are thrilled to have over 300 players. If you want to be placed on a waiting list, please contact the appropriate age coordinator:
Rosters for travel teams (U10 - U14) were due to the Middlesex Soccer League in early July.
Fall 2008 Schedule
The Fall 2008 season starts the weekend of September 6th.
Practices for U10-U14 begin the week of August 17th.
Particular times, days, and fields will be determined once MYS receives confirmation from the City of Malden about what they assign to us.
MYS anticipates that U6 and travel teams will play on Saturdays, and U8 will play on Sundays.
